      Your Freestyle Blood Glucose Meter might not be turning on because the test strip is upside down or not fully inserted. Ensure the test strip is inserted with the printed side up, top end first. Another possibility is that the battery is either missing, installed incorrectly (the (+) side should be facing up), or dead. Try replacing the battery.
