6.2.1.3 Set Default Edge
Selecting Default Edge restores the factory default edge distance to the specific zone selected.
6.2.2 Sound
Allows user to shut off non-safety related operating sounds.
6.2.3 Wire position
Allows user to test the wire position in ‘Edge’ mode while the mowing motors are switched off to
prevent any damage to the perimeter wire after the initial setup of the wire is completed.
6.2.4 Language
Allows the user the option of viewing the LCD text in several different language versions.
6.2.5 Scan Width
Scan Width provides Robomow the option to change the progress of the mower when mowing. This
can be beneficial in some lawns. Scan width will modify the distance between subsequent legs of
mowing after each movement off of the perimeter wire. If it appears that the Robomow is simply
driving along the same path back and forth, it is recommended to increase the scan width.
6.2.6 Fast Edge
Fast edge enables Robomow tracking the Perimeter Wire in faster drive speed. This option is enabled
in Dock zone only. The fast speed has two speed levels, when the faster level is used when the
mowing motors are switched off and Robomow tracks the Perimeter Wire in ‘Searching dock’ or
‘Searching entry’ modes.
6.2.7 Enable Dock
This option should be set to ‘on’ when using Charging Station to enable the docking options to the
user. If it set to ‘off’ the docking menus are hidden.
6.2.8 Blades replaced
Choose this option after replacing the blades to restart the reminder counter. A reminder to replace
the blades again will be displayed after the next 200 hours of operation. Blades are easy to replace,
refer to section 9.2.
6.2.9 Anti-Theft
The anti-theft system provides the user a disabling function that will prevent anyone from using or
driving the Robomow unless they have the valid code to enter. You will be prompted to enter a four-
digit code of your choice to use as your personal security code. Use the scroll arrows in order to
change each digit position to a different number and then press GO’ to move to the next digit to
select. You will find a place to record your personal security code in Chapter 8 of this manual. Be
sure to record your code for future reference.
To change the password chooses the ‘Change password’ option under the ‘Anti theft’ menu (see
figure 6.7). You will be promoted to enter your old password before setting the new one.
