General The wirefeeder is connected to the power source using the interconnecting
hosepack.

the power source mains switch is in the "O" position

the device is unplugged from the mains.
NOTE!
When connecting the interconnecting hosepack, check that

all connections are connected properly
▶
all cables, leads and hosepacks are undamaged and correctly insulated.
