6.3 PROGRAMMING THE SCHEDULE ON THE RECORDER
6.3.1 MAKING A NEW SCHEDULED RECORDING
To create a new scheduled recording on the BAR-LT recorder:
1. Navigate to Main Menu Recording Schedule.
2. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select + New entry then press ENTER.
3. Set the Start Time/Date, recording Duration and the recording settings such as sample
rate and file/compression type (WAV of FLAC).
4. To repeat a recording during the day, select the Repeat option and press ENTER to toggle
the status to YES. Then set the repeat period and the time you want the repeating to stop.
5. To repeat the recordings every day or every n days (skipping the days in between), select
the Repeat daily option and press ENTER. Then set the repeat period in days and then the
day you want the repeating to stop. Note this is the last day on which recordings will take
place.
6. Set the sample rate for the recording. The options are: 8kHz, 16kHz, 22.05kHz, 32.0kHz,
44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz.
7. Select Save and press ENTER.
Note, when creating a new entry on the BAR the name will be automatically set to REC,
REC_SUNRISE or REC_SUNSET depending on the type of entry being made.
6.3.2 VIEWING / EDITING A SCHEDULED RECORDING
To view or edit an existing scheduled recording:
1. Navigate to Main Menu Recording Schedule.
2. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select the schedule entry you wish to edit then press ENTER.
3. Edit the fields you want to change then select Save and press ENTER.
