Installing a battery

► Position the batte

► Push the battery into the battery slot until you feel it lock into place (1).
► Close the release

Module

The design of y
our notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following mod
ules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Second batte
ry
• Second hard disk drive
• Optical dri
ve
• Empty plug-in unit (save w eight)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the m od ule.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to switch off the notebook.
Log off the module via the corresponding symbol in the task bar.
The module can now be removed without any further a ctions being necessary.
If you wish to perform a restore for your operating system and a second
hard disk drive is installed in the module bay, take care that you remove
the module befo re performing the rest ore.
