Creating a new block-based iSCSI-LUN (Internet small
computer systems interface - l
ogical unit number disk drive)
► Select Storage manager > Storage space, and click on Create.
► To open th e "iSCSI quick configuration assistant", click on New iSCSI-LUN.
In ord
er for the LU N to be integrated by an iSCSI initiator, it must
be ass
igned to an iSCSI target.
If no
iSCSI target has been created before, you can do this now
with
the option Only on e iSCSI target.
You c
an also select the option iSCSI target with an allocated LUN to combine
the
two individual steps required in a single operation.
► Select Only iSCSI-LUN and then click on Next.
