EU D irective 2009/125/EC defines requirements for the environmentally-friendly design of
energy-related products. To meet the requirements of this directive, EuP mode must be activat ed.
► Activate EuP mode under Control Panel – System settings - Perform ance.
If EuP mode is activated, this influences the settings below, so that a low current consumption
(less than 0.5 W) can be retained by the server in deactivated state:
• Wake on LAN : Deactivated.
• AC operations resumption: The server remains o ff if the power supply
is restored after a power failure.
• Switch on/sw itch off/restart on schedule: Deactivated.
If EuP mode is deactivated, the s erver’s power consumption in deactivated state is greater
than 0.5 W. EuP is deactivate d by d efault so that the Wake on LAN, m ains resumption
and operating schedule functions ca n be used normally.
