If the R AID configuration for the NAS is incorrect or error messages are
displayed, try the following solutions:
It is essential t o back up all important data on the NAS first to
mitigate any potential data loss.
Check the following to determine if the RAID rebuild has failed:
• LED: The Status LED on the NAS is flashing red.
• The status of the drive
configuration is displayed as In degraded mode in
Control Panel - System
settings - Storage m anager.
► Establish which hard disk(s) caused the R AID rebuild failure:
Go to the Control Pan
el – System settings – System logs to search for the following error
messages to find out
which hard disk(s) caused the error.

X refers to the number of the hard drive slot.
