Firmware update
During the firmware update, the power and network connections must not be
disconnected. Never switch the NAS off during the firmware update.
If the system is running p
roperly, then there is no need to update the firmware.
Before updating the syste m firmware, m ake sure the product model and firmware version
are correct. Follow the steps below to update firmware:
► Read the “Release Notes” for this firmware version on the webs ite

► Before updating the system firmware,backupalldatastoredontheharddiskto
avoid any data being lost during the system update.
► Open the administration interface and select Control Panel - Firmware Update - Firmware Update.
► Click on Browse... to select the new firmware to update the system.
► Select the corresponding IMG file and click on Update system to update the firmware.
The system update may take tens of seconds to several minutes to complete
depending on the network connection status. Please be patient. The system
will inform you when system update is co mpleted.
