Security against information leakage is enhanced by creating and managing the authentication key for a Self
Encrypting Drive (SED) in a key server and by updating the key regularly.
The management cost of authentication keys can be reduced by consolidating the keys for multiple
ETERNUS DX
storage systems in the key server. Note that ETERNUS SF KM is required when linking with the key management
server.
