7.1 Removing Jammed
Documents
If a document jam occurs during scanning, follow the procedure
below to remove the jammed document.
The following shows the procedure for removing jammed
documents.
1.
Remove any documents on the ADF paper chute.
CAUTION
•
Take care to prevent injuries when removing
jammed documents.
•
Take care to prevent neckties, necklaces,
etc. from getting entangled inside the
scanner when removing jammed
documents.
•
The surface of the glass sometimes
becomes hot during operation. Take care to
prevent burns.
