Waiting Time for the Scanner to Enter Power
Saving Mode [Power saving]
The waiting time for the scanner to enter power saving mode
can be specified.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
For details, refer to "8.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel"
(page 156).
2 From the listing on the left, select [Device Setting].
HINT
 When [Continuous Feed Mode] is enabled, the scanner will wait
for the next document to be loaded until the specified time
elapses even if you start scanning with no document in the ADF
paper chute (feeder).
 When the feed mode switch is set to Manual/Single mode, even
if the Enable option is selected for [Continuous Feed Mode] in
[Manual Feeding], the scanner operates in Manual/Single
mode.
 This setting can also be configured with the operator panel.
