Windows 10 Procedures
It is very important that you create your Recovery Drive before b egi nning to use your system.
It is also imp ortant that you create a backup of the content of the C:\Drivers on
your system to writable med ia or an external drive. System-specic software drivers
are also available for download through the Fujitsu support site.

Creating a recovery drive
A recovery drive can h
elp you troubleshoot and x problems with your PC, even if it won’t
start. To create one
, all you need is a USB ash drive. W indows will inform you of the
size of the USB ash d
rive needed to hold the required data.
1. F rom the taskbar, s
earch for Create a recovery drive and then select it. You may be
asked to enter an ad
ministrator pa ssword or conrm your selection.
2. W hen the tool opens, make sure Backup system les to the recovery drive
is selected and then select Next.
3. C onnect a USB driv
e to your PC, select it, and then select Next - Create. A large number of
les need to be c
opied to the recovery drive, so this could take some time.
4. W hen it’s done, select Finish.
Note:
If you chose no
t to back up the system les when you creat ed your recovery drive on
Windows 10, yo
u won’t be able to use it to reinstall Windows.
Recovery options in Windows 10
If your PC isn’t running as quickly o r reliably as it used to, try one of these recovery
options. The following table can help you decide which one to use.
