Adjust the fan control
You can adjust the fan control in the BIOS Setup Utility. The following settings are available:
• Normal: The system will b e cooled so that the maximum system power is always available.
• Silent: The fan speed and thereby the fan noise will be reduced.
► Call up the BIOS Setup U tility.
► In the m enu Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations select the function Fan Control.
► Select the setting Normal or Silent.

With the Fujitsu Utility Function Manager you can also switch between these two
settings under Windows. For this, in Function Manager select menu item Fan with
the selection options Quiet Mode (corresponds to Silent)andNormal Mode.
