The inst allation of radio components not approved by Fujitsu Technology Solutions
will invalidate the certifications issued for this device.
Depending on the device configura tion you ordered, your device will be
equipped with W ireless LAN, Bluetooth and / or UMTS.
Switching the wireless components on a nd off
Before you switch on
your device for the first time, the ON/OFF switch for
wireless c ompo nent
s must be in the "ON" position.
► Slide the ON/OFF switch into the "ON"
position to act ivate the radio components.

► Slide the ON/OFF switch to the
"OFF" position to switch off the
wireless com ponents.
The Bluetooth and UMTS modules and the wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna)
will all be switched off when you switch off the wireless c ompone nts.
You can also deactivate wireless components individually in the BIOS Setup.This
presupposes th at you have either not assigned a supervisor password or, if a supervisor
password has been assigned, that you know what this password is.
Pay attention to the additional safety notes for devices with ra dio components
provided in the "Safety/Regulations" manual.
Details on using a wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the wireless LAN software.

received with your Bluetooth software.
