Switching the wireless components on and off

The wireless component indicator will illuminate when one or more wireless
components are switched on.
If you switch off the radio components, the Bluetooth and LTE m odules and the
wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna ) are also switched off.
Pay attention to the additional safety notes for devices with radio components
provided in the "Safety/Regulations" manual.

included in the W ireless LAN software.

Setting up WLAN access
• Requirement: A WLAN must be available and you must h ave the
corresponding access information.
Information on configuring the WLAN access can be found in the
documentation for your operating system.
Access via LTE (configuration dependent)
If you ordered an integrated LTE module with your syste m, you can enjoy optimum
reception and maximum energy efficiency without awkward cables or antenn as. An
installed LTE module is re ady for immediate use.
If you did not order an LTE module, you can purchase the accessories for LTE reception
from your retailer or your Fujitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
For information about conne cting with the LTE network, please see the documentation
for the hardware that you will be using.
You can connect your device to the internet via LTE. To do this, use one
of the following connection types:
• Integrated LTE module (the type depend s on your model variant)
• a USB dongle (a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card)
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone with Bluetooth or cable connection)
