Energy sav ing functions indicator
• The indicator is illuminated: The e nergy saving functions are activated
(e.g. reduce brightness of the screen).
• The indicator is n ot illuminated: The energy saving fun ctions are
deactivated.
Switching the notebook on
► Open the LCD screen.
Switchingon
► Press the ON/OFF button for about one
second to switch the notebook on.

The power-on in
dicator of the notebook is lit.
Switching the notebook off
Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off your
device. O therwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the operating system correctly.
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/OFF button
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the LCD screen.
