This unit requires an AC adapter to operate. Only use U L Listed I.T.E. adapters with an output rating
of 19 VDC, with a minimum curren t of 3.42A (65W). T he correct output rating is indicated on the
AC adapter label. Refer to th e illustration below for the correct A C adapter output polarity:
When u sing your notebook equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
• Do not use this product near water fo r example, n ear a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink or laundry tub, in a we t basement or near a swimming pool.
• Use only the power cord and b atteries indicated in this manual. Do not dispose of batteries in a
fire. They may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.
