Connecting the notebook to the Port Replicator
The AC adapter must be connected to the Port Replicator when the
notebook is conne cted to the Port Replicator.

► Remove the AC plug for the AC adapter from the AC socket.
► Disconnect the AC adapter c
able from the DC socket (DC IN) of the notebo ok.

► Op en the release lever prior to dockin g (1).
► Position the notebook so that it is in line with the back edge of the Port Replicator (2).
When the lid is closed, the Port Replicator can be easily positioned because the levers on
the back are visible.
► Place the note book onto the Port Replicator and ensure that it locks into place correctly.
► Press th e lid on the center of the ed ge (3, hinge side).
