Camera
Your device has an infrared camera (1) and a tablet mode camera (2). The infrared
camera enables authentication with Microso ft Window s H ello. The Tablet mode camera
allows camera shooting with the screen folded down when the device is in Tablet mode .

Depending on the software used, you can use the cameras to take pictures,
record video clips or take part in web chats.
Each camera has its own status indicator. The respective status indicator
lights up when the camera is active.
• The picture quality depends on the lighting conditions and the software being used.
•Youcan
only use the camera w ith a particular application (e.g. an Internet telepho ny
progra
m or a video conferencing program which supports a camera).
• When using the camera , the notebook support must not shake.
•Theca
mera automatically adjusts itself to the c urrent light level. For this reason the
LCD di
splay may flicker while the light leve l is adjusted.
