1.3.2 Day/Dusk/Night Mode (Dimmer Mode: ECDIS)
In ECDIS dimmer mode, Day, Dusk and Night settings are available, to allow better screen visibil-
ity. To switch between modes, do the following:
1. Press the MENU/ESC key to open the Main menu.
2. Select [Day/Dusk/Night], then press the ENT key.
3. Select [Day], [Dusk] or [Night] as appropriate, then press the ENT key.
4. Press the MENU/ESC key once to close the menu.
The default setting for Day, Dusk and Night modes are shown in the table as below.
In case of the brightness-related change from the external equipment during the [Brilliance Set-
ting] display, the indication on the screen is changed. But, the value of the [Brilliance Setting] win-
dow is not changed. Close [Brilliance Setting] window once, and the value is updated when
displaying it again.
