strap (45) to the eyelet (3) on the shaft (see Fig. B).
It is recommended to always attach the shoulder
strap
(45) when using the tool.
IMPORTANT: Never attach the shoulder
strap diagonally across your shoulder and
your chest, but rather place it on one of your
shoulders. In this way you can remove the devices
quickly from your body in case of danger.
Connecting the lower shaft to the upper
shaft
1) Loosen the shaft locking knob (1) by turning it
anti-clockwise. (Fig. C1)
2) Line up the hole in the upper shaft sleeve, with the
lower shaft release button (14) and start to insert the
lower shaft into the upper shaft (4). Rotate the shaft
up and down slightly until the lower shaft release
button (14) engages in the hole in the lower shaft
sleeve. When engaged you will hear a click when it
locks into place. (Fig. C2)
NOTE: Ensure you check that the lower shaft can
not be pulled outwards when the lock is correctly
engaged.
3) When the shaft is located, retighten the shaft
locking knob by turning it clockwise. (Fig. C3)
Preparing the product
The product has four attachments, which you can
combine with the motor head (11) to create dierent
work tools: a brush cutter or line trimmer, a pole saw,
a pole hedge trimmer or an edger. Prepare the various
attachments for use as follows:
