the battery packs after each use and before any
maintenance. Wear protective gloves.
WARNING. When servicing, use only
identical replacement parts. Use of any
other parts may create a hazard or cause product
damage. To ensure safety and reliability, all
repairs should be performed by a qualied service
technician.
Replacing the line
a. Replacing the spool and line complete
For your convenience it is recommended you buy
spool and line complete.
1) Press and hold in the two cap release latches. Turn
anti-clockwise and pull cap away from the spool holder. (Fig. O1)
2) Remove old spool. Then, place new spool into cutting head. Release one
line from cleat and feed line through eyelet. Repeat for second line. (Fig. O2)
3) Replace the cap, pressing rmly down towards the spool holder to ensure
cap is fully located. Check that the cap is correctly tted by trying to remove
it without depressing the two latches.
b. Replacing the line only
WARNING. Your Trimmer is designed to use
only line with a maximum diameter of
2.0mm. Always wind the line onto the upper
section of the spool rst.
1) Remove the cap of the spool as as described in
the chapter “To replace the spool and line complete”.
