Cleaning
WARNING. Water or other liquids that have entered the housing
can cause a short circuit. Do not immerse the product in water or
other liquids.
WARNING. Make sure that no water or other liquids get into the
housing.
WARNING. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with
metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such
as knives, hard spatulas and the like. These can damage the surfaces.
WARNING. Clean the product thoroughly, especially the cutting
devices, after each use and let all parts dry. Otherwise, moist
plant residues can harden or start to become moldy and are then
dicult to remove.
1) Turn o the product. Wait until the device stops completely.
2) Remove the battery packs.
3) Remove all plant residues with a hand brush or a brush.
4) Clean all smooth surfaces with a damp cloth.
5) Clean the housing with a soft cloth or brush.

5) Place the edger blade cover (50) with the opening downwards over the
inner ange (e) on the spindle. (Fig. S3)

Insert the edger blade cover lock nut (51) on top of the edger blade cover
(50)
, onto the spindle and tighten it by turning it anti-clockwise with the
wrench (17mm)
