STANDARD AVIATION FORECAST ABBREVIATIONS
‘+’ – (Heavy) ‘-’ – (Light)
‘/’ – (Missing or separator) Axxxx – Altimeter setting
(xxxx are numbers)
AFT – After BKN – Broken clouds
BLO – Below BR – Light fog
CIG – Ceiling CLR – Sky clear
DZ – Drizzle FEW – Few clouds
