Transferring Files to Your
Computer
After you have connected the device
to your computer, you can copy and
paste les from your computer into the
device drives/volumes.
1. Browse your computer for the le.
2. Select the le.
3. Select  > .
4. Open the “Garmin” or memory card
drive/volume.
5. Select  > .
Deleting Files

Your device memory contains
important system les and folders that
should not be deleted.
Before you can delete les, you must
connect the device to your computer
(page 44).
1. Open the “Garmin” drive or
volume.
2. If necessary, open a folder or
volume.
3. Select the les.
4. Press the  key on your
keyboard.
Disconnecting the USB Cable
1. Complete an action:
• For Windows computers, click
the eject icon in your
system tray.
• For Mac computers, drag the
volume icon to the Trash .
2. Disconnect the device from your
computer.
