1 GETTING STARTED
1.1 Product Description
The GTR 225 COM Radio series provides a powerful VHF communications
transceiver. In addition to the traditional COM features, the GTR 225 series
incorporates workload-reducing functions.
The GTR 225 series monitors the standby COM frequencies and stores the
user’s most-used frequencies. The GTR 225 (10 watt) COM radio operates
in the aviation voice band, from 118.000 to 136.975 MHz, in 25 kHz steps
(default). For European operations, configuration for 8.33 kHz steps is provided
with the GTR 225A (10 watt) and GTR 225B (16 watt).
