The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black. The
wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
Werning: This apparatus must be earthed.
It must also be protected by a A fuse. If in
doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
2-core lead for use on 220/240V, 50Hz power
supplies (remainder of Europe).
The wires of this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue - Neutral.
Black - Live.
Connect the wires to the power supply plug
in accordance with its maker's instructions.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

50 or 60Hz (American forces in Europe).
For access to tne motor on the underside of
the unit see page 13. The 50Hz pulley has a
plain base and the 60Hz pulley has an
identification aroovo in it.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured
and should be connected as shown in ihe
previous section.
a Voltage changeover on motor
Nominal voltage is indicated on two plugs,
one on each side of the motor. Make sure
that both plugs show the correct voltage, see
diagram 9. Pull them out and rotate them if
necessary.

Voltage range is altered by resetting the
position of two wire links, in accordance
with the instructions moulded into the block
cover. Motors are normally supplied set to
the 220/240V range as shown on diagram 10.
The location of both links for 110/125V
mains is shown dotted on the same diagram.

On peut changer le voltage en changeant la
position des deux fils, comme indiqué sur
le capot transparent de la plaque à bornes.

Schwarz — Phase
Verbinden Sie die Adern mit dem

Seite 13. Die Stufenachse für 50Hz hat eine
glatte Basis, wobei die Stufenachse für 60Hz
eine Markierungsrille an der Unterseite hat.
Die Adern im Netzkabel sind farbig und
sollten gemäss dem vorerwannten Absatz
angeschlossen werden.
(a) Spannungsumschaltung am Motor
Die Nennspannung ist auf zwei Steckern
angegeben, einer auf jeder Seite des
Motors. Ueberzeugen Sie sich, dass beide
Stecker die korrekte Spannung zeigen —
Siehe Bild 9. Wenn nótig, ziehen Sie die
Stecker heraus und drehen sie um.
(b) Spannungsumschaltung am
Netzanschlussblock
Die Netzspannung kann durch Verándern
der Position der beiden Verbindungsstücke
umgestellt werden, gemáss den Angaben
auf dem Deckel des Netzanschlussblocks.
Die Motoren werden normalerweise für den
Betrieb auf 220/240V geliefert, gemäss Abb.
10. Die Plazierung der beiden
Verbindungsstucke für 110/125V ist mit
einer punktierten Linie auf der gleichen
Abbildung angegeben.

El voltaje nominal está indicado en dos
clavijas, una a cada lado del motor. Hay que
cerciorarse de que las dos clavijas indiquen
el voltaje correcto, véase el diagrama 9. Se
tira de ellas y se les hace girar en caso
necesario
(b) Conmutación de voltaje en el bloque de
conexión a la red
El margen de voltaje se modifica reajustando
la posición de los dos conectores, de

en la cubierta del bloque.
