Tips for Best Results
• Freshly ground coffee is the key to making coffee with more flavour and body.
• Coffee flavour and strength is a personal preference. Vary the type of coffee beans, amount
per cup/shot, and grind size to achieve the flavour you prefer.
• If you are using dual wall filters for your espresso machine, we suggest a coarser grind size
setting in the ESPRESSO range. For single wall filters, use an extra-fine setting (at the right end
of the scale).
• Use freshly roasted coffee beans, preferably with a ‘roasted on’ date.
• Store coffee beans in a dark, cool and dry place. Vacuum seal, if possible.
Buy in small batches to reduce the storage time and store no more than one week’s supply
at any time.
Once coffee is ground, it quickly loses its flavour and aroma. For the best results grind beans
shortly before brewing.
• Do not store beans in the bean hopper for a prolonged period.
When storing the appliance, empty the bean hopper and thereafter run the milling works
empty to remove ground beans left in the milling works.
If you wish to obtain the maximum freshness of ground coffee, run the milling works for
approx. 2 seconds before each use.
• Clean the bean hopper and milling works regularly.
