When the following conditions occur,
contact the Geely Service
immediately:
• Side airbags have been deployed.
• The door is impacted, though the side
airbag isn't triggered to deploy.
• When the seat cover at the side airbag
assembly is damaged, scratched or
otherwise damaged.
The following operations are
prohibited to affect the normal
operation of the side airbag without asking
the personnel of Geely Service:
• Install electronic devices such as mobile
two-way radio communication devices.
• Refit the occupant side structures.
Side airbag curtain*
The side airbag curtain provides further
protection for the driver, front occupant and
rear outboard occupants, based on the
safety protection provided by seat belts. In
case of a moderate or severe side impact,
the side airbag curtain can reduce personal
injury by inflating and working with the seat
belts simultaneously. The side airbag
curtain can mainly reduce the head injuries
of the driver, front occupant and rear
outboard occupants.
Side airbag curtains are mounted above the
left/right doors, marked with "AIRBAG" on it.
Because the side airbag curtain has a
considerable speed and strength
when it is deployed, it is prohibited to put
your head and hands outside the window or
close to the area where the side airbag
curtain is deployed when the vehicle is
driving, otherwise serious casualties may
occur.
Do not install any decorative parts
around the side airbag curtain, such
as windshield, door glass, side pillar, roof
side, or stick microphone or any other
equipment inside the roof and on the
auxiliary handles. When the side airbag
curtain is deployed, these objects will be
thrown out under the strong deployment
force of the side airbag curtain, resulting in
personal injuries or affecting the normal
operation of the side airbag curtain.
