Since the 0…10V input range is reduced 80% above, the scale interval (HI.S – Lo.S) must be extended downward so that the
useful interval (100.0 – 0.0) is 80% (100.0/125.0 = 0.8).
Example 3:
VIN = 0…9V

Lo.S = 0.0
HI.S = 111.1
Since the 0…10V input range is reduced 90% below, the scale interval (HI.S – Lo.S) must be extended upward so that the
useful interval (100.0 – 0.0) is 90% (100.0/111.1 = 0.9).
