Safety instructions
1.1.1. Deployed personnel
I The sta commissioned for the power generator must have read, understood and be able to
apply all operating instructions, and here in particular the Safety instructions chapter!
I The deployed personnel must be trained in rst aid and be able to provide it!
I The deployed personnel must be trained in accordance with the rules of conduct in case of
malfunction!
I Comply with the legally permissible minimum age of 18 years!
I Always have personnel that are to be educated, trained, instructed or who are undergoing a
general apprenticeship constantly supervised by an experienced person during work on the
power generator!
I The intake of alcohol, drugs, medicines or other mind altering substances is prohibited!
I Make sure the deployed personnel work safety- and hazard-conscious and comply with the
operating instructions and the supplementary local requirements!
I During all work on the power generator do not wear long, loose hair, loose clothing or jewel-
lery including rings. There is a risk of injury by body parts getting caught or pulled in!
I Use the personal protective equipment, at least hearing protection, protective gloves and safe-
ty footwear which are necessary or which are required by supplementary regulations!
I Get familiar with the site and the operation of the re extinguishing equipment! Also instruct
the deployed personnel!
I Comply with the local re detection and re-ghting specications!
1.1.2. Operation of the power generator
I Only operate the power generator outdoors in compliance with the safety clearances as descri-
bed in <Operation> in the operating instructions!
I Do not operate the power generator in re-risk or explosive environments!
I An installation in vehicles or facilities requires the prior, written approval from the manufactu-
rer!
I Operate the power generator only when all safeguards and safety-related equipment such as
detachable safeguards, EMERGENCY STOP devices, sound insulation or extraction equipment is
present and functional!
I Check the power generator at regular intervals for visible signs of damage and defects!
I Shut down the power generator if there are any faults or irregularities. Secure the power gene-
rator against renewed start-up!
I Eliminate faults immediately!
I Perform power on and o operations according to the operating instructions!
