5. OPERATION OF THE POWER GENERATOR
5.1. Transport of the power generator
Prerequisites:
Power generator switched o and cooled down.
No consumers or cable plugged in.
Note the weight and dimensions; see technical data.
5.1.1. Transport via crane or forklift truck
I WARNING
SUSpENDED lOADS
Risk of serious injuries leading to death
No personnel is allowed to be under or near suspended loads
Lifting gear must be approved for the weight of the power generator
Pay attention to the correct centre of gravity for industrial trucks
Transport power generators at low lift heights
Secure any accident site and initiate immediate life-saving measures
NOTE
Local and user-based safety regulations must be observed during transport.
For crane transport: Use only suitable and approved lifting gear!
For forklift truck: Place the power generator on a suitable pallet.
5.1.2. Transport with integrated wheel set
Fold open the fold-down handle upwards (Pos. 20-6).
Raise the power generator on the fold-down handle.
Pull the power generator to the utilisation site.
Fold in the fold-down handle (Pos. 20-6).
