4.2. General specications
The type 2801 power generator consists of the components:
• Petrol engine
• Alternating current asynchronous generator
• Base frame with integrated wheel set
• Control box
• Fuel tank
4.3. Scope of delivery
The type 2801 power generator is supplied with operating manuals for the power generator and drive
engine. Other accessories are not included as standard.
4.4. Technical description
4.4.1. General specications
The type 2801 power generator is installed in a base frame. The engine hood can be swung up for
maintenance access. Operation of the engines is performed via an ignition switch and the recoil start-
er.
4.4.2. Connection sockets
Voltages of 230 V / 50 Hz up to a maximum of 13 A are available via the safety sockets.
If extension cables or mobile distribution networks are used, the following rules apply:
Overall length of the conductor extension network:
• max. 60 m at 1.5 mm²
• max.100 m at 2.5 mm²
NOTE
The loop impedance, i.e. the sum of all connected cables as dened by ISO 8528-8, must be no
greater than 1.5 Ω. Recommendation: Use only tested extension cables.
4.4.3. Oil automatic shut-o
The drive motor is equipped with an oil automatic shut-o. This safety device shuts the engine down
if the oil level becomes too low. The engine cannot then the restarted. Only after the oil level has been
corrected by relling to the maximum marking on the oil dipstick can the engine be started.
