15. Add 5 gallons of water.
16. Next add salt into brine tank. (40lb minimum, 120lb maximum.)
17. Install brine tank cover.
18. Turn a faucet on, away from the installation location, until the water from the plumbing lines has been purged.
19. Softening system is now fully operational.
20. Take a water sample to verify and test for hardness reduction.
21. Allow water and salt to stand for at least 6 hours and then perform a manual regeneration to ensure a proper
brine formation.
