3. Commissioning
Prior to operating the Blind rivet nut gun, attach the matching threaded mandrel with nose piece.
• DisconnecttheBlindrivetnutgunfromthe
compressed air network.
• Detachlocknut1,usingdoubleopen-end
spanner SW27.
• Unscrewnosepiece2withlocknut1
• Pushslide10backallthewaytobufferand
hold tight
• Unscrewthreadedmandrel3
• Insertnewthreadedmandrelofsamesize
(if worn out) or threaded mandrel of
matching thread size all the way to buffer.
3.1 How to change a threaded mandrel
• Releaseslide.Atthesametimemakesure
that the threaded mandrel is locked safely
inside the hexagon socket of the slide. If
required, unscrew threaded mandrel
slightly until the slide locks.
• Insertamatchingnosepieceforeachth-
read size using lock nut 1 and lock loosely
with locknut, using a double open-ended
spanner.
• Setthreadedmandrellength“X“,as
described under item 3.2.
• Howtoloosenlocknut1,usingadouble
open-ended spanner
• Adjustthreadedmandrellength“X“,
according to nut length (See image 4) by
turning nose piece 2.
