Using the Barcode Reader

If your model has the barcode reader module, you can read barcodes of the
following types:
 Code 39
 Code 128
 EAN/JAN/UPC
 GS1 Databar
 Interleaved 2 of 5
 PDF417
 QR Code
 Data Matrix
 OCR
To read barcodes:
1. Start your processing software and open a new or existing file. Place the
insertion point (or called cursor) where you want the data to be entered.
2. Press and hold the Trigger button of your Tablet PC while aiming the
scan light at the barcode. The light projected from the lens consists of a
center marker and four corner markers. Make sure the barcode is within
the four corner markers.
Adjust the lens’ distance from the barcode, shorter for a smaller barcode
and farther for a larger one.
