4 PRINCIPLES AND FUNCTIONING
4.1 PRINCIPLES
Articles that can be folded :
This is an independant machine for folding laundry. It is designed to fold ironed or wrung-out
laundry such as terry cloth towels, dish towels, T-shirts, ect. These articles can be made out
of terry cloth, linen, cotton and different types of polyester-cotton.

• Min width : 260 mm
• Max width: 1200 mm
• Min length: 250 mm
• Max length:: 2350 mm
Rectangular items : for items or other forms including strips or edging, it is best to ask the
laboratory to test.

Machine production capacity
Instantaneous production : 800 to 1200 pieces /hour, according to the type of article and the
ability of the operator.
The speed of the conveyor belts is 50 m/min (170 ft/min) for 50Hz.
All of the cross folds are made by a jet of air in combination with the inversion conveyor belt.
All of the cross folds made and raised are considered complete pieces.
The standard machine possesses 3 stacker conveyors of 650mm, 4 stacker conveyors of
415mm and a central conveyor belt which brings the pile to the operator on the right or left
side of the machine. The machine is programmed to sort out the items in 3 categories only
that it contains 3 or 4 stacker flaps.
The different folding programmes can be accessed by using the touch screen.
Do not attempt to remove an item that has already been loaded into the ma-
chine.
Any anomaly of the feeder must be immediately reported to the person in
charge.
