Connecting the base
¤ First, connect
telephone jack
1.
¤ Then connect
the power
adapter 2 and
insert the
cables into the
cable ducts.
Please note:
u The power adapter must always be connected, as the phone will
not operate without a mains connection.
u Use only the power adapter and phone cord supplied. Pin con-
nections on telephone cables can vary.
u The answering machine is ready for use approx. 15 seconds after
the base has been connected or reset.

¤ Connect the flat plug on the power
adapter 1.
¤ Plug the power adapter into the plug
socket 2.
To disconnect the plug from the charger,
press the release button 3 and disconnect
the plug 4.
