Changing the speaker/
earpiece volume
You can set the volume for speaker
mode and earpiece mode to five dif-
ferent levels.
In idle status:
t ¤ Call Volume ¤

¤ q Earpiece Volume/Handsfree

q Set the volume 1–5.
§OK Press the display key to
save the setting.
During a conversation via the ear-
piece or in speaker mode:
t Press the control key to
open the menu for setting
the volume. Set the ear-
piece or speaker volume
1–5 by pressing q.
The setting 1–5 will automatically be
saved after approximately 3 seconds
or press the display key

Changing ringers
u Volume:
You can choose between five vol-
umes (e.g., volume 3 =
ˆ
) and
the "crescendo" ring (
‡
, vol-
ume increases with each ring).
u Melody:
You can select from a list of pre-
loaded ringtones and melodies.
You can also set different ringer mel-
odies for the following functions:
u External Calls
u Internal Calls
u Alarm Clock

Setting the ringer volume
The ringer volume is the same for all
types of ring.
In idle status:

Set ringer melodies for External
Calls, Internal Calls and the Alarm
Clock separately.
