- Check that the water pump cover is not damaged
or deformed.
- Check that the sealing O-Ring is in good condi-
tion
- Check that the rotor does not show deformations
or dents.
- Check that the plastic rotor forms an integral unit
with the metal part.
- Check that the water pump shaft does not show
signs of wear and tear on the bearings in contact
with the crankcase, in the oil seal area and on the
motion sensor.
- Check that the ceramic seal surfaces are not
scratched or worn.
- Check that there are no damages or dents on the outside diameter of the bypass.
