4.7 Adjusting The Gas Throttle
Each Glow T180 unit is factory set to operate with
Natural Gas or Liquid Propane. These units cannot
be eld converted.
When installing the water heater, it may be
necessary to adjust the throttle on the gas valve to
ensure a correct and efcient operation.
This can be done by inserting a 2 mm allen key
into the throttle adjustment screw on the gas valve.
Turning this screw right or left will change the CO
2
value measured by the combustion analyzer. See
Figure 4.3 for the throttle adjustment locations.

The unit should be operating at maximum capacity for 5 minutes prior to adjusting the throttle.
