Unhook your Feet
Unhook the bungee strap that goes around the back of your ankles
(FIGURE 47) and hook it to the back of the pivoting adjustment
arm (FIGURE 48) so it is out of your way.
Remove your feet from the foot straps (FIGURE 49).
Secure Seat
Adjust the seat section of the climbing treestand so it will be at a
comfortable sitting height (about knee height).
• Sit on the back padded bar so the teeth bite into
the tree.
• Never jump or bounce on padded bar to seat/dig
teeth into the tree.
Locate the climbing treestand retainer strap on the pivoting adjustment
arms on the seat section and wrap the retainer straps around the front
of the tree and hook it to the pivoting adjustment arm using the hook
and cam buckle by following step 10.11.
