Tighten the retainer strap on the front of the tree by pulling the free end
of the retainer strap through the cam buckle (FIGURE 50).
Note: To release the retainer strap, push the lever on the cam buckle
(FIGURE 46).
Make Final Adjustments to Harness’ Tree Strap
for Hunting
Once the seat section is secure, stand up on the platform and raise the
tree strap up so it is at the harness manufacturers recommended height
(FIGURE 51). Secure the tree strap to the tree following
manufacturers instructions.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
When properly harnessed,
your harness’ tether should be
taut while sitting.

Double Check
Turn away from the tree and sit down in the seat.
Adjust the harness tether height as necessary to make sure the harness
tether does not have any slack in it (FIGURE 52). If the tether has slack,
raise the tree strap higher in the tree so the tether has no slack in it
when sitting.
