The spring portion of the pin must face the outside of the climbing
treestand (FIGURE 10). Close the D-ring snap pin so the spring portion
of the pin is locked into the groove on the pin (FIGURE 11).
Position
Place the teeth side of the platform section of the climbing treestand
next to the tree so the platform section is approximately 12 to 24 inches
off the ground (knee height) so that you can easily step onto the platform
from the ground.
Attach Tree Cable
Wrap the end of the detached tree cable around the tree.
Slide the end of the tree cable into the adjustment arm with the hole
facing up (FIGURE 12).
