Repair Fluid T
emperature Sensor (FTS)
Installation
The Fluid Temperature Sensor (FTS) is supplied with
the system. Install FTS between main hose and
whip hose. See Heated Hose manual 309572 for
instructions.

Test/Removal
1. Perform Shutdown, page 50.
2. Remove tape and protective covering from FTS.
Disconnect hose cable (F).
3. If FTS is not reading properly at the end of the
hose, see Check RTD Cables and FTS, page 72.
4. If FTS fails, replace FTS.
a. Disconnect air hoses (C,L) and electrical
connectors (D).
b. Disconnect FTS from whip hose (W) and
fluid hoses (A, B).
c. Remove ground wire (K) from ground screw
on underside of FTS.
d. Remove FTS probe (H) from component A
(ISO) side of hose.
