1.4 PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT
Wear all the protective clothing and personal safety devices issues to you or called
for by job conditions. You may need:
• Hard hat
• Safety shoes
• Safety glasses, goggles or face shield
• Heavy gloves
• Hearing protection
• Reflective clothing
• Wet weather gear
• Respirator or filter mask
Wear adequate clothing for the job conditions.
Always know where to get assistance in the case of an emergency. Know where to
find and how to use a first aid kit and fire extinguisher/fire suppression system.
