thus ensuring maximum heang of the steam room;
₋ closely laid stones prevent convecon and provide maximum protecon from infrared
radiaon.
IMPORTANT! It is prohibited to use halite to ll stone heaters.
2.6. Heater operation
IMPORTANT! Before each heang up of the heater, make sure that there are no foreign
objects in the rebox, ash drawer or in the chimney, and that there is chimney dra.
1. Remove all unnecessary and foreign objects from the rebox and chimney, remove ash
from the ash box.
2. Put 3-4 logs on the grate in such a way as to ensure free access of air to the combuson
area, namely: lay the rewood loosely, adjust the ash drawer gap to be within 50 mm
3. Ignite the fi ewood loaded into the rebox. The preferred ignion method is using
birch bark, wood chips and other natural materials, or using paper or throwaway
newspapers.
4. Close the door.
5. Partly close the ash drawer aer heang up of the chimney and development of
stable dra (usually aer burning of the rst load of rewood, approximately in 30-45
minutes), leaving a gap within 10 mm. It is necessary to constantly ensure sucient
dra, while avoiding the development of excessive one (it can manifest itself as
humming of the heater, too errac ame), that leads to heang of the rebox red hot,
which signicantly reduces the heater service life. Control the dra by adjusng the ash
drawer gap.
6. Close the ash drawer completely aer the air in the bath house heats up to a
temperature of 60-70 °C.
7. As a rule, 1-2 logs are enough to maintain the temperature in the steam room. In case
the temperature decreases, open the ash drawer and adjust the gap within 3-10 mm in
order to kindle the rewood (it takes more me, when the ash drawer is closed), and
close the ash drawer aerwards. If the temperature keeps decreasing, then adjust the
ash drawer gap within 3-10 mm and keep it unl the temperature reaches 60-70 °C,
then close the ash drawer. Bear in mind, that excessive heang (for example, several
full loads in a row) leads to overheang and shortens the heater and chimney service
life, and can also cause a re.
8.
When additional firewood is required, open the door smoothly, without jerks. Load the
firewood and close the door. Adjust the draft.
9. Aer the compleon of bathing procedures prepare the room and the heater for
closing: they are to be aired and dried. To do so:
• Put 4-5 logs into the heater rebox, kindle them. Set the ash drawer gap to be
approximately 10 mm. Open the hatches/windows, that serve for airing, and the door
in order to develop a small dra.
Note: the air and the bath house to remain heated, the air to move barely noceably,
i.e. it shall be quite warm and even hot in the bath house (up to 60-70 °C).
• Heat up the bath house in this mode, the rewood will burn in approximately 30-45
minutes. Completely close the ash drawer aer formaon of acve red coals. Close the
hatches/windows and the door, leave the bath house unl next use.
• The room and the heater to be periodically checked aer such stokings: there shall be
