Choose the correct parameters for:
• operation mode
• alternation type
• alteration value.
Examples:
• If the SCALA1 booster system is set up as Duty/
Standby with alternation on the number of starts
= 1, this means that every time the system starts
a different pump is running.
• If the SCALA1 booster system is set up as Duty/
Standby with alternation on the number of starts
= 5, this means that pump 1 will start first for 5
times before switching the priority to pump 2.
• If the SCALA1 booster system is set up as Duty/
Assist with alternation on runtime = 5h, this
means that pump 1 will start first every time until
the system reaches 5 hours of operating time.
Then the priority will be swapped between
pumps.

11.1 Maintenance
The pump is maintenance-free, but we recommend
that you check and clean the condensation plugs and
integrated non-return valve once per year or as
needed.
11.1.1
Cleaning of condensation plugs
1. Remove the condensation plugs carefully with a
suitable tool, for example, a small screwdriver.
2. Rinse the condensation plugs with water.
3. Reinsert the condensation plugs carefully by
pressing them in place with a finger.
