Installing a Linux network adapter
For Red Hat and SUSE OSs with a GUI, you can double-click the .rpm file to install a Linux network
adapter. This section installs a Linux network adapter from the CLI.
Checking network adapter version
Methods for checking network adapter versions vary by OS type. This example uses a CentOS.
To check the network adapter version, use the ethtool –i ethx command to display network adapter
details.
